Well hell weekend is over. Well, the weekend was amazing for the most part, and today was tolerable. the test started out reasonably easy.
Pictures from Friday night are up on Facebook and Myspace. Bad news. I was tanked, and I ended up with Mardi Gras Beads....yeah....
Saturday was great. Spent the day with Darryl's entire family, and it was fantastic, though i had a hell of a hangover. Darryl and I were in his car and got pulled over by a New York Statie, right over the friggen border. His excuse was(and this is the quote of the trip), "You're muffler is too loud for the state of New York. It's too loud for my roads".. hahaha
Oh btw. NY Staties have gray suits with Purple ties and purple pins. It's so silly. I mean, it's almost as purple as my hair. His sister, in the car ahead of us, got questioned because her chest strap to her seatbelt was behind her driving. The Sheriff of the county we were in also asked all the kids in the car how old they were. It was friggen ridiculous. Fuckin staties... I hate them
It sucked on the way up there. but i had a great time. It's days like that where I know I am not lying to myself when I tell him that I love him. Great Escape is nice, but nothing like Six Flags New England. It's smaller, and there aren't as many cool roller coasters and schtuff.. But it was still fun. Also went and raced go-karts and played laser tag with his sister and her boyfriend. That was amazing. Really good bonding time with all of them. I love his family. They are all interesting characters, and there are so many of them lol. It was also Autumn and Ariel's birthday (his younger twin sisters)so the staff sang to them everywhere we went. it was ridiculous, but funny, because we all knew the words by the end of the trip. and they hated us because we sang to them.
Besides that, Sunday was ok. we had a long talk, and cleared up a lot of things that have been bothering us. Went to some park and just sat and talked in the car. It was amazing. It made my mood much happier. I had to come back, though, to puke soaked clothes and bedsheets, it sucked.
So the lesson of the weekend:
Do not drink the jungle juice and expect to ride the Boomerang (same as flashback at Six Flags NE) |

saw old friends, made new ones, was extremely confused by some of them. got amazingly plastered listening to metal in the basement (with the live band!!!) and then there was a DJ..and there was an amazing dance party with like 10 people. (out of like the 200 people there). it's hard to explain all that went down, but it was the first party i went to this semester, and it's going to be a hard one to top. yep. fo' sho' |

yep. classes are starting slowly. I feel like the world has slowed down like crazy, but classes are already almost into the 3rd week.
having trouble finding my groove lately. I don't know. I'm sure once I get to sleep and tomorrow I wake up, I will have a little bit of my groove back. I feel.. alone...?? but I am not. I have an amazing boyfriend (who I guess woke up when I broke up with him last time). I have amazing friends. I go to a great school. I just need to do something....

Move in went well. Classes are alright so far, still have a few to go to. Considering seriously, changing french to either Psych or something. Haven't figured it out yet. Hope things are going well for everyone. All my friends starting college, you all sound like you're enjoying it! I am sooo happy. and to everyone who are already in school, uhh, enjoy yourselfs, and don't party too much :-p hehheehehe

well, things happened that way for me last night...this weekend... life sometimes isn't as terrible as I percieve it. I know,I know, people tell me that all the time. The world isn't as terrible as I percieve it, but you know what, I am not always a pessimist.

This is what my weekend consisted of:
Friday:
Originally started out as regular swimming, flashed some people that went by, then it turned into skinny dipping, made a late run to McD's, stayed up until 6 am playing pool on the warped table and talking with Thomas. Drank a little, but nothing to get me more than a little buzzed.
Saturday:
slept, woke up and ate lunch, went back and took a nap,when I woke up made out (sober) with a girl I barely knew to piss off her ex boyfriend standing right behind me(and it was pretty sweet :-) ), then started drinking at 4pm, played some pool on the aforementioned pool table, BBQed and partied all night, went streaking at midnight, slept in the same bed as Thomas and cuddled, but that's it! (dirty minds... I didn't have sex, I behaved, and I am not a slut which is what was assumed by some of the people in the house).
Sunday:
we went 4 wheeling in the backwoods on our way to drop something off at McDonald's for my roommate from last year. It is amazing. I loved it all. The backwoods is amazing, I wish I had a 4wheeler/ATV to use up there... we went up to his dad's property and the view is just amazing. You look out and there is a mountain and the lake with the islands...it was absolutely breathtaking. Went down some of the snow trails, got covered in mud, and I love it. I think it's my new favorite hobby.
So, slowly but surely, I am turning into a redneck. hehehehe but do not fret.
though I am having a dilemma....and I want to know what y'all think.....I have a ticket for a concert on Friday next week, and I also have the invite to go back up to Newport....If I go to the concert, I can't go to Newport. and I've already bought the ticket for the show, but I think I might enjoy myself more if I go north than if I go to the concert.
Concert includes: Unearth, Norma Jean, All That Remains, The Red Chord, Walls of Jericho, A Life Once Lost, and Full Blown Chaos....I don't know how many of you have listened to them...but they are a mix of metal and hardcore bands...all sound good studiowise, but has anyone seen these guys live??? |
